3RIDES Gran Fondo was organised for the first time in 2024 after a first UCI Gravel World Series event in the same location in 2023.  For the new race, the event is relocating to a new start and finish area.

The 136-kilometer route for the 3RIDES Aachen event, scheduled for Sunday, June 1st, at 7:30 a.m., includes 2290 meters of elevation. For the Men over 60 and Women over 50, the race finishes at kilometer 82, with a total elevation of 1400 meters.

The route traverses several towns and villages, starting from Stolberg and passing through Breinig, Zweifall, Vicht, Schevenhütte, Großhau, Kleinhau, Zerkall, Schmidt, Vossenack, Simonskall, Rollesbroich, Steckenborn, Woffelsbach, Rurberg, Kesternich, Seifenauel, Dedenborn, Hammer, Eicherscheid, Simmerath, Paustenbach, Lammersdorf, Mulartshütte, and finally returning to Aachen-Schleckheim via Zweifall and the Nerscheider Weg. The course features a mix of climbs, including some with gradients up to 12 percent, and descents, offering a challenging ride through the Eifel region. Three feedzones are positioned along the route.
